Observe Swachhta Pakhwada 2026 01st September to 15th September 2026

he theme for Swachhta Pakhwada 2026 is “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”, which translates to “Partnership for Cleanliness; Clean India, Prosperous India.” This theme emphasizes the importance of community participation and collective effort in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. It encourages citizens to take ownership of cleanliness in their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and public spaces. The campaign aims to promote sustained cleanliness through a Whole of Government and Whole of Society approach, treating cleanliness as a collective responsibility rather than the responsibility of a single department or local authority.
